Parks of Study and Reflection, Banahaw

This Park of Study and Reflection was started and is run entirely by volunteers and will grow and become alive to the extent we make that happen. While there is a core group looking after everything others are very welcome to play a role and take part generally. There are two levels, those Park Banahaw members who are more committed, and, members of the Circle of Friends of Park Banahaw, who help when convenient.

Of course, financial contributions are very welcome and needed right now to complete important repairs and make improvements.

The Parks of Study and Reflection are spaces dedicated to the study and reflection about the Human Being and evolutionary possibilities toward a nonviolent world without discrimination of any kind. Here a new sensitivity and the best in ourselves can be expressed.

Silo referred to the Parks (of Study and Reflection) in relation to the Humanist Movement (of Universalist Humanism) organisms, which are: the Community (for human development); Humanist Party International; Convergence of Cultures; World without Wars and without Violence; and, World Center for Humanist Studies, saying, “…the organisms are referenced to the Parks.” He seen the Parks in relation to base councils – that have the intention of forming an organism, that is, starter groups of people with a lot of vocation, also individuals who have that vocation though they might not be working through the organisms but reference the Humanist Movement itself. Also, there are the Communities of the Message of Silo, and again Silo simply stated: “…they are in the Parks.”

“The parks are used for leveling work, by apprentices, disciples and masters,” Silo reiterated. Though that possibility is not open at the moment at Park Banahaw, however, the equivalent of levelling, working through the instructors book, Self Liberation, with someone who has completed those studies, is still a possibility.

“The Parks are also used when working with the formative manual for members of the Humanist Movement and manual of Silo’s Message, for Messengers. The Parks are open for meetings, gatherings, etc. for the organisms and Silo’s Message.” Another group with ready access to the Park’s facilities is that of the International Press Agency – Pressenza. The Park’s use is coordinated by an online booking calendar for the Park. Everyone pays, no exemptions.
